Cards are printed on demand within 1 business day and normally posted the next day.

Cards are shipped 1st class and usually arrive with you 3 to 4 business days after ordering.

 

Refund Policy

As our cards are print-on-demand we are not able to offer refunds. However if there is a problem with your order or if you have made a mistake, please do get in touch and we will do our very best to correct the issue.

The Marohu & Mimosa range is printed on demand so I am unable to accept cancellations for items once the item has gone into production.

If you change your mind about a purchase, please contact at MarohuAndMimosa@gmail.com to let me know as soon as possible. If the item has not yet gone into production, I will be happy to cancel your order.

We accept returns if the item is returned in perfect, resellable condition. To return an item, contact me at MarohuAndMimosa@gmail.com.

Please quote your name, details of the item you would like to return, and your order reference number.

You must contact me within 10 days of receiving your purchase and then return the purchase to me, unworn and unused with original packaging, within 30 days of receiving your purchase. You should post your returned item to the address I will provide.

If you are returning your order from outside the UK, please mark “returning item” on the package, so that a customs charge will not be levied.

Please note that postage costs will not be refunded.

You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the purchase whilst they in your possession if you intend to return.

If any of the above mentioned conditions are not met, I reserve the right to refuse return or significantly lower the value of the refund due to diminished value.

I will refund you on receipt of returned goods using the same method by which you paid.

Please do not return an item back to me without contacting me beforehand. That is considered as a forced return, and I am not under a legal obligation to refund you in that circumstance..

Because of the nature of these items, I can’t accept returns for custom or personalised orders.

Hi, I'm Katy O. Life, the day job, responsibilities... all of these wonderful things can get in the way of creative fulfilment. Through musing on this fact in January 2025, I accidentally set myself on the path to reigniting my creative flame. And so Márohu & Mimosa was born. Although, there were a hundred other names that came before, but when I got to 'Márohu & Mimosa', it landed differently. The name started with Prince's Starfish and Coffee song. Please, if you don't know it, go and listen... Welcome back. What a song. Anyway, it took me on a random voyage through words and meanings and fish and stars... until I discovered the name Márohu. Márohu is a star in Aquarius (my birth sign) and was named by the Dominican Republic in the Caribbean (half my cultural heritage). It is inspired by the Taino cemi (ancestral spirit) who is protector of the sun. All the stars aligned. This was the name. I had thought to pair it with 'Mocha' as a nod to the coffee in Prince's song, but I don't drink mochas, whereas Mimosa cocktails... well, we don't need to know how often I drink those. Let's just say it felt more authentic. And so a star was born (at least, the name Márohu & Mimosa was born). I started sharing my work under this name. It's early days, but the journey so far has been fun and has provided the much needed creative outlet. If you're here, reading this, and you made it to this point, thank you.
