Vendor Biography
Caroline Lacoma is a London-based self-taught photographer and writer whose work explores themes of transformation, rebirth, and the self as experienced by a Black woman. Through self-portraiture, she documents the fluidity of personal identity, the process of becoming, and the quiet moments of unmaking and remaking. Her images capture the raw, often unspoken emotional landscapes of healing and introspection, blurring the boundaries between reality and the subconscious.
Her practice began as an act of self-representation and has since evolved into a visual language of metamorphosis—where the body, space, and shadow engage in dialogue. Her greeting cards extend as a continuity of her practice allowing personal words and intention to enhance the meaning of her work.
